Our Handcrafted Soap 

In addition to the beef we produce for your personal consumption, we produce a completely “All Natural Soap” made from the tallow, “fat” of our beef.

Years ago, tallow was considered the premier fat for manufacturing soap (even over lard) before it was used in so many other products that it was then hard to find. This soap is as natural as it gets with tallow, olive oil and food grade lavender oil which, during certain times of the year, is supplemented by the lavender grown at Backfield Farm. Due to the soap being made by hand, the bars are never uniform in size or shape lending them a unique appearance.
